The qualifying round of the Big Idea Challenge Startup competition.

On April 20 and 26, 2021, on the ZOOM platform, qualifying rounds of the Big Idea Challenge Startup ideas competition took place. On April 20, a university selection round was held with Olga Lygina, Vice-Rector for Science and Strategic Development, and Bulat Nurzhanov, Director of the Department of Science and Innovation. The meeting on April 26 was organized with the participation of partners from the University of Lincoln (UK) – Kevin Blanchart, the Head of the Creative Spark project, and Olaoye Olanrewaju, the project coordinator. Participants of the Big Idea Challenge are students and lecturers of Baishev University, who demonstrated their presentations and pitches. Participants got advice on how to improve their presentations and pitches for the local selection panel.
