SCILLA project within the framework of the Partnership program of Central Asian Universities

Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature Bibigul Kussanova and Head of the International Relations and Academic Mobility Department Zhanat Yerniyazova participated in the eight-month international project SCILLA (STEM content Integrated with Language – Learning Activities) “Enhancing Teacher Preparation and Teaching Methods in Rural Kazakhstan – Next-Generation English-Language Teaching for STEM Teachers”, supported by the Partnership Program of the Universities of Central Asia (UniCEN). The project started in May 2020 on the ZOOM platform. The project was coordinated by Professor Douglas Hartman, Ph.D., Michigan State University, and Associate Professor Yulia Novitskaya, M. Ed, East Kazakhstan State University.
