Online forum “Intercultural Dialogue: Russia — Kazakhstan”

The forum “Intercultural Dialogue: Russia Kazakhstan” will be part of the International Educational Project “Russian Text: on the pages of Culture”. The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

The project is organized by the Center for Additional Professional Education — “ALFA-DIALOG”, the main partners are the Herzen State Pedagogical University (St. Petersburg) and Baishev University (Aktobe).

The forum “Intercultural Dialogue: Russia-Kazakhstan” will be held on December 19, 2020 at 11: 00 Moscow time (at 14:00 Nur-Sultan time, UTC +6) on the Zoom platform.

We invite teachers, librarians, schoolchildren, students, representatives of public organizations, as well as anyone interested in intercultural relations between Russia and Kazakhstan, to join the Forum.

Russian Center for Science and Culture in Nur-Sultan and Kazakhstan Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature, A. I. Herzen State Pedagogical University and representatives of Baishev University, Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Russkiy Mir Foundation and MAPRYAL, St. Petersburg Committee for External Relations, Education Support Fund, as well as leading Russian and Kazakh scientists and cultural figures, representatives of universities, libraries, schools and public organizations will take part in the Forum.

Discussion platforms:

Section 1. Russia — Kazakhstan: Literary and educational discourse;
Section 2. Language relationships, bilingualism. Modern Russian language;
Section 3. RCTS as a resource promotion of the Russian language and Russian literature abroad: techniques and technologies;
Section 4. Modern literature in the reading range of young people.

For students in the framework of the Forum there will be organized a section “Getting to Know each other! Books!” (organizers: Committee for Culture of the Leningrad region, Leningrad Regional Children’s Library, East Kazakhstan Regional Library named after A. S. Pushkin).
